My creative prowess has always been in puzzles and how things fit together whether it is fixing machines, building furniture, or figuring out how pattern pieces of a garment should come together. My mind works more in numbers and math alongside my creative bug. That is where I found my passion for technical design and product development in the apparel industry.
Growing up in the mountains has fostered an intense desire to protect our planet in the best ways that I can, making a difference in the apparel industry from the inside out. My drive for sustainable practices and production has led me to new technologies, textiles, and construction techniques along the way.
I have always been passionate about clothing as an expression of oneself, whether that is in base layers or ballgowns. There is no better feeling than when someone puts on a garment that you created for the first time and they are beaming with confidence.
Putting my passion in every project, product, and idea, my goal is to work toward a better planet and share my passion with others that want to do the same.
Now get out there, climb a mountain, hug a tree, recycle your plastics, and try your best to be a good human. And remember, there is always something new to learn.
